Excel's 3-Step Process

The Excel Homes process eliminates variables and worries from the building process. Just follow our easy step-by-step process and you’ll be moving into your dream home in no time.

Step 1: Research

The first step to getting the home of your dreams is knowing what you want. What style of house are you looking for? How many bedrooms and bathrooms do you want? What features would you like to have? Use this site to explore the models, floor plans and customization options we have available.

Step 2: Select a Builder

Your next step is to choose an independent Excel builder in your area. Your builder will work with you on all pricing and specifications and will also order your home from Excel Homes. While we construct the house in our factory, your builder will lay the foundation and then complete all other site work. Your local builder will help you through the entire construction process.

Step 3: Customize Your Design

You can now work with your builder on your Excel home design. This is where you match your desires and needs with a provided Excel floor plan or one of your own. Working with your Excel builder, you can revise the plan as much as necessary until you are satisfied with the design of your home. Excel makes customization easy. Many of the homes we build are customized from the original plan. From here, your builder will order your home from Excel Homes. In the meantime, your builder will begin site preparation and you can look forward to moving into your new home in as little as six weeks.
